Editor's note— Ord. No. 90-63, adopted May 1, 1990, amended Ch. 18 in its entirety to read as herein set forth. The purposes of such amendment, as stated in the ordinance, were to (1) exempt peddlers, solicitors, and itinerant vendors where the proceeds of sales were applied, in whole or in part, to nonprofit, religious, charitable, educational or civic purposes; and (2) allow the sponsors of itinerant vendor events to complete an application and post a bond on behalf of all participants. Ch. 18 derived from Ch. 6A of the 1965 Code as amended by Res. No. 83-451; Res. No. 83-593; Res. No. 84-94; Res. No. 84-356; Res. No. 84-786; and Res. No. 85-34.
